Hey hey, welcome to my blog. I am very excited about the launch of my new site. Above is a pic of an Australian event called a “tie up” where everyone ties up there boats and parties down. Maybe my many years in Los Angeles have left me looking on from afar. Wearing a “jodi b wise” pink kimono dress of course! I think that coming from Australia has definitely shaped my taste and design. I think the physical cloeseness of Asia has also been a huge influence for me.

The New York Times said that the apron is back again. “ One spring look that is compelling beyond all reason is the apron. Actually, aprons come and go in fashion; about every five or six years, designers have a mom or a sexy maid fetish, and the rest of us share their pain. But there is something interesting about the apron’s latest return.”

I think my obsession with the apron came from always wanting to tie a sweater around my hips-it always was some kind of weird security. Anyway I hope the Apron never dies!
